A collectible art book
The Human Team
Photos and captions, poems and short writings that evoke the feeling of our interconnectedness.
A collectible art book, made by a call to artists everywhere. The printed book comes last, as the seal.
FormingThe Human Alignment Experiment
It shows who is writing the sentence: real people, from everywhere.
What it is
The book
Images that help us realize our interconnectedness.
Images gathered from people everywhere, each paired with words: a caption, a poem, a short story, from the one who made it or from someone else.
Its theme is solidarity: we are all in this together.
Photographs on Unsplash: Danie Franco, Nathan Dumlao, Z.
The invitation
What makes us feel, in a single glance, that we are one team?
An image, a few seconds of video, a story, a poem, our own words or someone else's. Sending in is how we take part.
How it is made
A curated collection of special images.
Each image is paired with evocative words: the person's own, or captioned by someone else, or matched to a poem, a song or a story. Matching an image by one person to words by another is itself authorship.
It belongs in the lineage of The Family of Man, Inside Out and Humans of New York, and of the art books people keep, give and pass on.
