Privacy Policy
Last updated March 2026
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights around your data.
What Information We Collect
When you visit EVERYONE and use our platform, we collect information in a few ways:
- Account Information: When you sign up or log in, we collect your name, email address, and any belief statement or bio you choose to share. You can provide this through Google OAuth, email/password authentication, or both.
- Usage Data: We track which pages you visit and what downloads you make. This helps us understand what resonates with you.
- Cookies: We use authentication cookies to keep you logged in. These are essential for the site to work.
- Payment Information: We will eventually process payments on this site. When that happens, payment details will be handled securely and never stored by us directly.
How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Let you create and manage your account
- Authenticate you securely when you log in
- Show you personalized content and features
- Understand how people interact with EVERYONE (through page views and download tracking)
- Send you important updates about your account or the platform
- Process payments when you make them
- Comply with legal obligations
Who We Share Your Data With
We don't sell your data. We do share information with trusted partners who help us run the platform:
- Supabase: Handles authentication and database storage. Your account information and beliefs statements live here.
- Google: If you log in with Google OAuth, Google handles that authentication.
- Netlify: Hosts our website and logs basic server information.
- Resend: Sends emails on our behalf (account confirmations, important updates).
- Payment Processor: When we launch payments, we'll use a PCI-compliant processor that never stores full card details with us.
Cookies
We use cookies for one main reason: to keep you logged in. When you authenticate with us, we set a session cookie that allows you to browse without logging in every time. This cookie is essential and doesn't require additional consent. It's how authentication works on the web.
We don't currently use cookies for tracking or advertising. If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your account information as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer if legally required (like for tax or compliance reasons).
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: See what data we have about you
- Correction: Update or fix inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request we delete your account and personal data
- Portability: Get a copy of your data in a portable format
- Opt-out: Stop receiving non-essential communications from us
To exercise any of these rights, email us at core@everyone.team. We'll respond within 30 days.
GDPR & CCPA Compliance
If you're in Europe (GDPR): We process your data based on your consent (when you sign up) or to fulfill our contract with you (your account). You can withdraw consent anytime. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you're in California (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete your data, and to opt-out of any "sale" of personal information (we don't sell it, but you have the right nonetheless).
Children's Privacy
EVERYONE is not intended for anyone under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover we've done so, we delete that information immediately. Parents who believe their child has provided information to us can contact us at core@everyone.team.
Security
We take security seriously. Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We use industry-standard protections, but no system is 100% secure. If there's a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We'll notify you of material changes via email or by posting a notice on the site. Your continued use of EVERYONE after changes means you accept the new policy.
