Cookie Policy
Last updated March 2026
This page explains what cookies are, how EVERYONE uses them, and how you can manage them. Cookies are small files that websites store on your device. They help sites remember you and work properly.
What Are Cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit. Browsers send these cookies back to the website on each visit, allowing the site to recognize you and remember information about you.
Why We Use Cookies
EVERYONE uses cookies for one primary purpose: authentication and session management. When you log into your EVERYONE account, we set a session cookie that keeps you logged in as you browse. This is essential for the site to work properly and securely. Without this cookie, you'd have to enter your password on every page.
The Cookies We Set
Authentication Session Cookie
- Purpose: Keeps you logged in across pages
- Set by: Supabase (our authentication provider)
- Duration: Session (expires when you close your browser or log out)
- Consent required: No. This is essential for the site to function.
Third-Party Cookies
Currently, EVERYONE doesn't set third-party cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. If we add these in the future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent.
How to Manage Cookies
You have control over cookies on your device. Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies: See what cookies are stored
- Block cookies: Prevent websites from setting new cookies
- Delete cookies: Remove all or specific cookies
- Clear cache: Remove stored data when you close your browser
If you disable authentication cookies, you won't be able to log in to EVERYONE. Most other cookies are optional, so blocking them won't break the site.
Browser Settings
To manage cookies in your browser:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and website data
- Edge: Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data
You can also use "Do Not Track" signals in your browser, though websites aren't required to honor them.
Local Storage & Similar Technologies
Besides cookies, we may use other storage technologies like local storage or session storage to remember preferences and improve your experience. These work similarly to cookies and can be managed through the same browser settings.
Consent & Cookies
We don't set non-essential cookies without your consent. If we add analytics or other optional cookies in the future, we'll provide clear opt-in options and update this policy.
Changes to This Policy
As EVERYONE evolves and we add new features (like analytics or payment processing), our cookie use may change. We'll update this policy and notify you of material changes.
