Every social and network product on earth is built on a withdrawal from the user. Email. Password. Photo. Bio. Contacts upload. Behavior tracking. The user pays in data before any value is given.
EVERYONE inverts. We give first. We ask nothing required. We earn the right to ask more by the artifact and the moment we deliver in return.
This is not a tactic. It is the project's whole thesis applied to the moment of joining. We argue that we are already on one team and that the work is to make that visible. Membership cannot then be a transaction where the user trades data for access. Membership has to BE the recognition that the person was already here. The act of joining is the act of saying yes to a truth that was already true.
We are the network that asks for nothing to give you something.
All four work without our servers. All four remain yours even if EVERYONE disappeared tomorrow. None require a password or a profile.
Anyone can join with one click and stay at Level 0 forever. Nobody is excluded. Adding a little more is optional and always a thirty-second tap: an email so you can return from any device, your name so the people you invite see who brought them in. The point is not to extract data; it is to give members simple ways to be reachable and recognizable to each other when they want that.
The same ladder doubles as the security model. A Level-0 account is zero-friction by design: one click, no required fields, a permanent personal link the member can save. The cost of that posture is that the link is sensitive, so the system stays low-stakes at Level 0. The moment a member tries to do anything tier-elevated (paying, accessing partner-tier surfaces, becoming an investor), the system asks for a verified contact channel and switches the account to magic-link-only authentication. Security scales with what is at stake. Members can always come back via the personal home at everyone.team/me or by requesting a fresh link by email.
Privacy is the structural property of the platform. We never sell or share member data with third parties. We never use it against the member. The architecture is designed to know less rather than more. Privacy is universal and non-negotiable.
Anonymity is the individual member's choice about presentation. Whether other members can see a name, a face, any identifying detail. Anonymity is granular and chosen.
A member can have privacy with full identification (everyone in the network sees Sara Jiménez, doctor in Madrid; the platform protects that fact from third parties). A member can have anonymity without privacy in other systems (places where nobody knows who you are but the platform tracks everything). They are orthogonal.
Default for new members: identified-low rather than fully anonymous. Just a number and a mark. You are encouraged, never required, to add your name and a way to reach you, because the team works better when members are recognizable to each other. The reason is intrinsic: a connection that feels like meeting a real person.
What we never do: require identification to be a member. What we always do: explain why each level matters and why the team works better when more members choose to be more visible.
To the manifesto. The manifesto says there is a game being played, and if we play together we can still win. Counting yourself in is the act of accepting that you are in the game and willing to play it on the team. Membership is the first move.
To the thesis. The thesis is that we are connected, structurally, and the work is making that visible. Membership is the simplest possible expression of the thesis: you become visibly part of the team that already includes you.
To the book. A Case for Belief is 36 arguments for why collective possibility is still rational. Membership is the practical answer to "now what." After being persuaded, the member has somewhere to be.
To the platform. The platform memo describes the public Team layer (visible) and the personal Roster layer (private to each member). Membership is the entry into the public Team layer. The Roster is the deeper engagement that comes later.
To the sliding scale. Membership is free at the floor and stays free. Sliding-scale support is offered after the moment of joining, as the member's choice to fund the team. The team funds the team. Free is real because others pay more.
To the campaigns. The launch campaign ends with a single click that puts your light on the team. That click is the membership act. The campaign's CTA and the membership's CTA are the same act, the same words, the same artifact.
To the brand. The mark each member receives is a personalized EVERY1 mark. When physical team wear ships, the mark members already have becomes the design they wear. Digital and physical converge.
To the guardrails. Guardrail 1 (everyone equals actual everyone). Guardrail 2 (win-win-win, no required losers). Guardrail 3 (interconnection as structural fact). Membership is the simplest place where all three are honored at once.
To the film. When the immersive film ships, members are the audience that already exists. The film's call to action is membership. The membership's promise that "the film, when it ships, comes to you" is the loop closing.
